Why digital education?
Digital education helps learners build the skills they need to navigate technology making them become better equip for this digital age. Moreover, students of digital education become more accustom with researching, finding, accessing, consuming and sharing content online. They become discerning in the content they view, making informed judgements on what is legitimate, safe and fact-based.
The use of digital strategy in my institution
The successful implementation of the strategy requires leadership from all in the educational system. It is crucial that our school system use digital technology not only effectively but efficiently in order for our students to acquire the skills necessary for this dynamic world. The digital strategy implemented in my school would assist to further embed digital technology across teaching and learning, and will allow relevant stakeholders to invest in the building of technology in my institution. As we are all well aware digital technologies have become an essential part of our everyday lives. Therefore, our schools must be equipped with the necessary skills, in order to become productive, efficient and effective citizens in this the 21st century.
